Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

We would rather refund somebody than argue with them. If PrepLift did not do what you expected, tell us and we will sort it out.

1. Try before you pay

Every new user gets a set number of free questions before any payment is asked for. That exists so nobody has to buy a subscription to find out whether the answers are any good — please use it, and judge the service on real homework before paying.

2. Subscriptions

A subscription unlocks unlimited questions for a fixed period, priced and stated at checkout. Payment is taken up front through our payment processor. Follow-up questions about an answer you already received are never charged, subscription or not.

3. Cancelling

You can stop at any time. A subscription does not auto-renew unless the checkout explicitly said so and you agreed — in that case you can cancel from your account or by emailing us, and cancelling stops future charges while leaving the current period running to its end.

4. Refunds

Within 7 days of payment: full refund, no questions asked. Email us and it is done.

After 7 days: we will consider a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the period where the service did not work as described — for example a sustained outage, or repeated failures to answer.

Always refundable, whenever it happened: a duplicate charge, a payment for an account you did not authorise, or a charge after a cancellation we confirmed.

5. Where a refund may be declined

  • Where the subscription has been used substantially and there is no fault in the service — disagreement with an answer is not, by itself, a fault.
  • Where an account was suspended for breach of the Terms.
  • Where the request is clearly fraudulent.

If we decline, we will tell you why in plain words rather than quoting a clause at you.

6. How to request one

Email support@preplift.in from the address on the account, or message us on WhatsApp from the number that paid. Include the payment reference if you have it. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Banks and payment processors typically take 5–7 business days to complete this, and that part is outside our control.

7. If a parent paid

Where a parent or guardian paid for a child’s account, they may request cancellation or a refund directly, and may also ask us to delete the account and its data at the same time. See the Privacy Policy.
