These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of PrepLift ("Platform"), operated by PrepLift ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use PrepLift.
PrepLift is intended for students, teachers, and educators in India. Students under the age of 13 should use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree to use PrepLift only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:
PrepLift uses AI to grade answers, provide feedback, and power the chatbot. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated feedback is for learning purposes and may occasionally contain errors. It should not be treated as the sole source of academic evaluation. PrepLift is a supplementary learning tool and does not replace classroom teaching or official examinations.
PrepLift offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro and Elite). Paid plans are billed on a monthly or yearly basis through Razorpay. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
The free tier provides limited daily access to AI features (grading, chatbot, OCR). Daily limits reset at midnight IST. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days in a billing cycle.
All content on PrepLift, including questions, explanations, UI design, code, and branding, is the property of PrepLift or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or commercially use any content from the Platform without written permission.
Content you submit (answers, images) remains yours, but you grant us a limited licence to process it for grading, analytics, and platform improvement purposes.
PrepLift is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI grading will be perfectly accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or misuse the Platform. In case of termination for violations, no refund will be provided.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of PrepLift after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We encourage users to reach out to us first to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.
